The court upheld the ban on communication for the Khachaturian sisters

The court refused to lift the ban on communication between the Khachaturian sisters and each other and with witnesses in the case. TASS reports this with reference to one of the defenders.

According to him, the girls are allowed to communicate with their mother.

At the end of January, investigators resumed the investigation against the Khachaturian sisters in the case of the massacre of their father, committed in 2018. The side of the victims, Khachaturyan’s relatives, disputes the motive for the crime.

They refuse to believe that Mikhail Khachaturyan raped his daughters, since the case file contains no evidence indicating violence by the girls’ father.

In April 2025, a Moscow court found Mikhail Khachaturyan guilty of violence against his daughters.

The Khachaturian sisters dealt with their father in July 2018. According to investigators, the girls cut him up in a Moscow apartment because he was bullying them.
