Response from Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya to the 'private jet' and 'stock market' allegations

Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was mentioned in the "fund investigation" carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and resigned from her post as AKP Deputy Chairman, made a statement about the "private jet" allegations against her.

The claim that Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya went on a pilgrimage last year with the jet of Pusula Portföy Yönetimi AŞ Chairman Muhammed Yarız was on the agenda.

Speaking to Nagehan Alçı, a journalist close to the government, about the allegations, Kaya said, "This is completely slander. No, I went with Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight."

Alçı asked "Can you prove this?" Upon the question, Kaya said, "I will send the ticket."

Nagehan Alçı said, "After I started broadcasting, the ticket fell into my messages. I am sharing it with you" and showed the photo of the ticket.

FATMA BETÜL SAYAN KAYA IS AT THE FOCUS OF THE FUNDING CRISIS

Allegations were made against Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya regarding ÖZATA Denizcilik share transactions. It was claimed that the Kaya family earned more than 2 billion TL in 5 months.

NEW Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre claimed that Kaya sold the 63 million TL shares he bought on the stock exchange in April for 1.3 billion TL shortly before the fund scandal broke out.

Emre said the following:

"He buys 250 thousand shares of ÖZATA at 255 liras. When it came to September, he sold these shares at 4 thousand 482 liras. How much did he invest? He invested 63 million 359 thousand liras. He withdrew 1 billion 344 million liras in 4 months. This nation honored you, made you a minister, but this was not enough for you."

Expressing a similar claim about Sayan's wife İlyas Kaya, Emre said the following:

"The lady's husband, İlyas Kaya, also bought 150 thousand shares at 255 liras. Likewise, he sold them at 4 thousand 482 liras. He invested 99 million 687 thousand liras and withdrew 826 million liras. The main share is ÖZATA, but there are two other places where they bought relatively fewer shares."
