Peskov: Russian and US intelligence services continue contacts on prisoner exchange

MOSCOW, September 30 - RIA Novosti. The intelligence services of Russia and the United States continue contacts on the topic of prisoner exchange, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

“As for the various exchanges that took place before, our special services continue regular contacts on this matter,” Peskov told reporters.

He clarified that the topic of the supposedly possible easing of sanctions by the United States in response to the release of “political prisoners” was not discussed with the American side and could not be discussed, since Russia categorically denies the presence of any political prisoners.
