Illegal migrants in France attacked a film crew from the British television channel GBN while they were filming a report about illegal crossings of the English Channel, journalist Patrick Christies reported.

In excerpts of the report that Christie published on his X account, he said migrants kicked their cars and threw bottles filled with stones at them. One of the migrants entered the car and struck the driver, who was able to escape serious injury.

"Our operator is not doing so well. He has cuts, wounds, abrasions and a possible concussion," Christie said.

The journalist filmed migrant camps located in France near the English Channel coast, and also filmed how they prepared to board boats at night. At the same time, as Christie emphasizes, the movements of groups of people carrying life jackets were monitored by French law enforcement officers, making no attempt to stop them.

The journalist added that he noticed several children, including newborn babies, whose parents were planning to transport them by boat to the UK.
