Gasoline prices increased by 670-720 VND per liter, oil prices decreased by 490 VND

From 3:00 p.m. today, each liter of gasoline increased by 670-720 VND, while oil decreased by 340-490 VND following the fluctuations of the world energy market.

According to the inter-ministerial administration, the price of E10 RON 95-III gasoline increased by 670 VND to 23,270 VND per liter. E5 RON 92 price adds 720 VND, at 22,480 VND per liter.

On the contrary, diesel products decreased by 340 VND, with a new price of 27,740 VND per liter, mazut is now 17,640 VND per kg.

During this period, the operator continued to stop spending the Stabilization Fund on gasoline and oil products. At the same time, the level of appropriation to the Fund for oil and fuel products is 200 VND per liter or kg.

According to the Inter-Ministry, after the adjustment, each liter of gasoline in Vietnam is still about 5,000-23,000 VND lower than neighboring countries. In particular, gasoline prices in Cambodia and Thailand fluctuate from 28,330 - 29,530 VND. The price in China is over 32,870 VND, while in Laos it is over 45,800 VND per liter.

Similarly, oil prices after today's operating period are also lower than these markets. Among them, the price in Laos is the highest, more than 38,200 VND per liter, while in China and Cambodia it is around 29,820-33,210 VND.

The Joint Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance said that the world petroleum market in recent days has been affected by information related to the US and Iran's continued military attacks on each other. Along with that, the US Federal Reserve is likely to raise interest rates later this year to curb inflation.

The above factors cause world gasoline prices to tend to increase or decrease compared to the previous period, depending on the product. Specifically, each barrel of RON 95 used to prepare E10 RON 95 increased by 4% to 121 USD, diesel decreased by 1.1% to 154.7 USD. Mazut decreased by 4.2%, at 586.1 USD per ton.
