HYROX Istanbul: 5 Thousand 209 Athletes from 113 Countries Come Together

Combining running and functional training in a single race format, HYROX once again brought together athletes and fitness enthusiasts in Istanbul. The organization, held at the Istanbul Expo Center in Yeşilköy under the global sponsorship of PUMA, brought together 5,209 athletes from 113 countries on the same track, making Istanbul one of the important stops in HYROX's international racing calendar.

HYROX Istanbul was held with the standard track structure applied worldwide. The degrees achieved in Istanbul were recorded in a comparable way with the performances of athletes competing in other HYROX cities, especially Berlin, London, Paris and New York, through the same system.

Athletes from all over the world competed on the same track HYROX Istanbul, attended by 5 thousand 209 athletes from 113 different countries, brought together the sports communities and spectators, as well as the competitors, under the same roof. During the races held in the Open, Pro Doubles and Relay categories, athletes tested their endurance, strength and performance by completing eight 1-kilometer running stages with eight functional exercise stations.

Thanks to the race format held in a single venue, spectators had the opportunity to follow the entire course uninterruptedly from start to finish. The performance struggle of the athletes throughout the race atmosphere turned into a high-paced and enjoyable experience.
