New arrests in Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office capital market terrorist financing investigation

New arrest warrants were issued in the investigations carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Terrorism Financing and Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau, regarding transactions carried out in the capital market.

After the procedures of the 8 detained suspects were completed at the police station, the suspects underwent a health check and were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.

Enis Bulut and Burak Gökçe, two of the suspects whose statements were taken at the prosecutor's office last night; Ethem Bulut Beytorun, Gürkan Parlakaç, Özdemir Uçar and Mustafa Dedik were arrested this morning. A judicial control decision was given for Kadir Boy and Ecem Tuğçe Akçay. Thus, while 6 people were arrested in the last referrals, the total number of detainees in the investigations increased to 51.

MASAK WAS ASKED FOR THE FINANCIAL MOVEMENTS OF COMPANIES

In the memorandum sent by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to MASAK on September 17, it was requested to provide financial data regarding the managers of Pusula Finans Holding AŞ, Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ, Hedef Holding AŞ and Bulls Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ and their subsidiaries.

In addition to determining the clear identity information of the company managers, it was requested that all foreign money and crypto asset transfers and all money inflows and outflows made since 2024 be sent to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in raw data.

MANY MANAGERS WERE ARRESTED

As part of the investigation, arrest warrants had previously been issued for many executives affiliated with the Tera and Pusula groups. Then, Doğa Sigorta Chairman Nihat Kırmızı and Tera Investment Board members Bülent Uygun and Abdulkadir Özkan were also arrested.
