The results of the 81st UN General Assembly, the Terror-Free Turkey Process, the investigation concerning 455 thousand investors, publicly referred to as fund victimization... The cabinet is meeting under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the first day of the new week with critical topics. The main agenda topic of the meeting will be the results of President Erdoğan's UN General Assembly held in New York, United States of America. President Erdoğan held meetings with many heads of state and leaders at the UN. The topics discussed in those contacts will be discussed at the Cabinet Meeting. One of those meetings witnessed a critical agreement in line with the goal of a terrorist-free zone. Türkiye and Iraq agreed to deepen their cooperation on security and to ensure the integrity and establishment of state authority in Sinjar and to end the presence of banned and armed foreign elements. Thus, it was announced that PKK would leave Sinjar and Bashiqa would be handed over to Iraq. In this context, the Terrorism-Free Türkiye Process is progressing step by step under the control of relevant units. In order for the framework law to be implemented, the determination and confirmation of the actual disarmament of the organization and the completion of the liquidation process continues uninterruptedly. The latest situation will be discussed in full detail at both the cabinet meeting and the National Security Council meeting, which is expected to be held in the new week.
MINISTER ŞİMŞEK WILL INFORM THE CABINET
The investigation, which publicly concerns 455 thousand investors, is another important topic to be discussed in the Cabinet. While operations continue within the scope of the Stock Market Manipulation investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek is in a meeting with institutions and organizations related to the transfer of assets in the funds and payments to investors. At the meeting, technical studies on liquidation and payment processes for 7 portfolio management companies were discussed. While President Erdoğan emphasized that there is no risk to the Turkish economy regarding the issue in his interview with members of the press in New York, Minister Şimşek is expected to make a presentation at the Cabinet Meeting regarding the data obtained during the meetings.
MECCA AGREEMENT, STRAIT OF HORmuz, GAZA
Under the foreign policy heading, the results of Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu's visit to Saudi Arabia within the framework of the Mecca Agreement meeting, the steps that can be taken to protect freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the latest situation in Gaza will be discussed.
SECURITY MEASURES IN SCHOOLS ARE ON THE AGENDA OF THE CABINET
Following the armed attack in Manisa's Turgutlu district in which 11 students were injured, studies on security measures and early risk detection in schools will be on the table.
UNCLOSED INVESTIGATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED!
Developments regarding unsolved investigations and old cases recently carried out by the Ministry of Justice will also be put under the spotlight at the cabinet meeting.
PREPARATIONS FOR TDT AND COP31 SUMMITS ARE ON THE TABLE
In addition, a separate parenthesis will be made for the preparations for the Organization of Turkic States Summit to be held in Ankara on October 29 and the COP31 summit to be held in Antalya between November 9-20 with the participation of more than 190 countries.
