The first phase of the Social Housing for Rent Project has been completed: Draws are in October

In his post on his NSosyal account, Minister Kurum stated that they have completed the first phase of the Social Housing for Rent Project implemented with TOKİ.

The institution said, "We have collected the applications, now the review process begins. We will determine the owners of 1071 houses among our citizens who meet the conditions by lottery in October and we will deliver our first keys." he said.

Rents will start from 10 thousand lira

According to the statement made by the Ministry, citizens of the Republic of Turkey who are over 18 years old, married, whose household income is below 100 thousand liras, who do not have a house on the title deed, will be able to benefit from the rental social housing system implemented within the scope of the 500 Thousand Social Housing Project. In addition, the requirement to reside in Istanbul uninterruptedly for at least 1 year will also be required.

The houses to be rented, with prices starting from 10 thousand liras, will be 1+1, 2+2, 3+1 and 4+1 according to groups.

1+1 or 2+1 housing will be allocated to young married families, and 2+1, 3+1 or 4+1 housing will be allocated to families with two or more children.

How many houses will be rented in which district?

A total of 1071 houses will be rented in the first stage, 360 in Başakşehir, Gaziosmanpaşa, Beyoğlu and Güngören districts in the first group, 330 in Maltepe, Tuzla and Kartal districts in the second group, 291 in Ataşehir, Sancaktepe, Ümraniye and Üsküdar districts in the third group, and 90 in Arnavutköy in the fourth group.
