Yalçın Yalman, known for his Kumburgaz UFO images, passed away.

Yalçın Yalman, who attracted the attention of Turkey and the world with the UFO images he took in the sky while working as a night watchman at a site in Kumburgaz, Istanbul, between 2007 and 2009, passed away.

According to the information obtained, Yalman died after a heart attack in Mahmudiye Village of Çanakkale's Ezine district. It was learned that Yalman was buried in Mahmudiye village.

The images recorded by Yalçın Yalman on different dates over the Marmara Sea in Kumburgaz, Istanbul, between 2007 and 2009, became one of the most talked about UFO cases of the period.

The recordings reflected on Yalman's camera, in which it was claimed that luminous objects with structural forms were seen, were examined and discussed for a long time by UFO researchers in different countries of the world, as well as in Turkey.

Some of the images were also subject to technical review by TÜBİTAK National Observatory. Evaluations that there was no clear evidence of digital intervention in the images during the examinations further escalated the discussions at that time.

Yalman, on the other hand, argued that the images he took showed vehicles belonging to extraterrestrial beings and that these recordings proved the existence of UFOs.

The images of Yalman, who did not give up this claim throughout his life, also attracted the attention of international UFO researchers; The Kumburgaz UFO case became known worldwide.

Yalçın Yalman, who came to Ayvalık in 2010, continued his sky observations during the years he lived here.

Yalman, who continued his observations and shootings despite very limited economic opportunities, occasionally appeared as a guest on national television channels and shared his experiences in Kumburgaz, the images he shot and his claims about UFOs with the public.

IHA Reporter Suat Akşam also chatted with Yalman many times while he was living in Ayvalık and listened to the story of the extraordinary events he described in Kumburgaz and the images he took.

In these conversations, Yalman stated that he had no doubt that the images were real and that he believed that the objects he recorded were of extraterrestrial origin.

The records, which entered the world literature as "Kumburgaz UFO Images", continue to be debated in circles interested in UFO and, more commonly used today, UAP research, despite the passing years.

One of the most important features that distinguishes the Kumburgaz case from similar ones is that the images were not limited to a single night, but were recorded on different dates and for a long time.

The shapes seen in some images taken with high zoom have caused different interpretations over the years. While some UFO researchers consider the recordings to be one of the most remarkable cases ever documented, different opinions have been put forward as to what the objects in the images actually are.

Until the end of his life, Yalçın Yalman believed that the images he recorded in Kumburgaz were UFOs and showed the existence of extraterrestrial beings.

Yalman's death was met with sadness by his family and loved ones, as well as by circles interested in UFO research in Turkey and around the world.
