Lavrov at the UN General Assembly: "The West uses brute force"

"The West continues to use brute force to act unpredictably, to undertake all sorts of undertakings, risking the lives and prosperity of millions, if not billions, of people on our planet. As President Putin said, the dictatorship of one hegemon is getting out of hand. It is dangerous for everyone else." Russian Foreign Minister Serghei Lavrov said this while speaking at the UN General Assembly.

Lavrov stated at the UN that "before our eyes a multipolar and more equitable world order is being born. The countries of the global South and the East are establishing themselves as sovereign centers of development. They reject external pressures and show interest in the prosperity of all states, not just a select few. This constructive philosophy is also the basis of Russia's foreign policy and is supported by our many friends." Lavrov then added that "the minority, which has dominated for 500 years thanks to the resources of others, continues to try to maintain its privileges and impose its rules on everyone else."
