Health effort carries out 10,000 procedures in Fortaleza this Saturday (26)
The action brings together previously scheduled surgeries, exams and consultations in 148 facilities in the municipal network. Nine stations will also have service on the weekend.

Fortaleza City Hall is holding a joint effort this Saturday (26) with 10,000 health procedures scheduled. The action takes place in 148 municipal posts and hospitals.
The task force covers surgeries in specialties such as ophthalmology and gynecology. Imaging and laboratory tests will also be carried out on a previously scheduled basis.
The objective of the initiative is to reduce queues in the public health network. This is the 14th joint effort of the current administration, which has already provided 48 thousand services.
During the collective effort, 131 health posts are open for scheduled services, vaccinations and registration updates. The schedule also includes medication dispensing.
In total, nine clinics are open on Saturday (26) and Sunday (27) for multivaccination. Two other units operate exclusively to administer vaccines.
This Saturday (26), Fortaleza City Hall is holding a health campaign with around 10,000 procedures scheduled, including surgeries, exams and consultations. The program involves 148 pieces of equipment in the municipal network, such as stations and hospitals. The patients covered were previously scheduled through the municipality's Regulation Center.
The task force covers surgeries in specialties such as ophthalmology, orthopedics, traumatology, gynecology, oncology, general surgery, dermatology, stomatology, endodontics and urology.

In addition, laboratory tests, X-rays, mammograms, transvaginal ultrasounds, densitometry, audiometry, skin biopsies, among other procedures, will be performed.
According to the Municipal Health Department, the objective of the initiative is to speed up the care of patients with scheduled specialized procedures and reduce queues in the network. At the Dr. José Frota Institute (IJF) alone, 74 surgeries are planned, in different specialties.
City Hall reported that this will be the 14th health effort carried out by the current municipal administration and more than 48 thousand procedures have already been carried out since then, including consultations, exams and surgeries.

Health posts
Within the collective's schedule, the 131 health centers will be operating to carry out previously scheduled services, in addition to vaccination, dispensing of medicines and updating registrations.
As normally happens, nine health posts will remain open, from 8 am to 5 pm, for service during the weekend, including Saturday (26) and Sunday (27). The units will offer health and multi-vaccination services.
