Suspected attempted murder of wife in Schwäbisch Gmünd: Suspect in custody

A 42-year-old is said to have tried to kill his estranged wife in Schwäbisch Gmünd (Ostalbkreis) and is now in custody. According to current findings, the police announced that the 42-year-old Iraqi was masked with an accomplice in the apartment of his 39-year-old wife in the early hours of Sunday morning. But the two fled after the emergency number was called.

According to the police, the suspect was arrested on Sunday and brought before the judge on Monday. The man was then taken to prison. The husband's accomplice was also arrested on Monday, but was released on Tuesday.
