The moderates: It's about justice. For decades, Härjedalen municipality has managed some individual roads - but far from all. This means that some property owners received benefits that others had to pay for themselves. We believe that the municipality's resources should be used more fairly and focused on the municipality's most important tasks.

Sweden Democrats: No justification given.

The Left Party: Uprooting the decision creates uncertainty for affected property owners and risks increased costs and conflicts around responsibility and maintenance. The management of roads requires long-term and stable solutions rather than new abrupt changes and unclear changes that make planning and division of responsibilities difficult.

The Christian Democrats: The process started 7 years ago and to tear it up now will be a deep injustice for those who spent expensive money for road construction, etc. That it was handled naively and horribly does not save the situation now. It is unfair as all municipal residents cannot be treated equally. 50-60 million so far for this from the municipal treasury is part of the municipal waste that we want to prevent in the future.

The Social Democrats: S have adopted an initiative case to review the consequences in the case, we intend to follow that, so it is difficult to say whether we think it is a good or bad decision. The matter needs to be investigated further.
