Russia Reports Interception of 384 Ukrainian Drones Over Regions and Black Sea

MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 384 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions and the Black Sea overnight, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

A drone attack damaged private houses in the Samara Region in the Volga area.

Attack scale

- On-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a total of 384 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russian regions between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time (5:00 p.m. GMT) on September 29 and 8:00 a.m. Moscow time (5:00 a.m. GMT) on September 30, the Defense Ministry reported.

- According to the ministry, drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kostroma, Kursk, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Moscow, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Perm Regions, the Republic of Crimea and the waters of the Black Sea.

- More than 30 UAVs were destroyed overnight over the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, the Bokovsky, Verkhnedonskoy, Kamensky, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky and Sholokhovsky Districts of the Rostov Region, Governor Yury Slyusar said on his Telegram channel.

- Air defense forces intercepted 31 Ukrainian drones over the Voronezh Region overnight, Governor Alexander Gusev reported on his Max channel.

Aftermath

- A drone attack damaged private houses in the Samara Region, Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said on his Max channel.

- According to preliminary data, there have been no casualties.

- Emergency services are working on site.

- As a result of falling drone debris, dry grass caught fire in the Chertkovsky District of the Rostov Region, Governor Yury Slyusar said in a post on his Telegram channel.

- There have been no casualties reported.

- The blaze has been extinguished.
