Turin Motor Show: the third open-air edition

In the shadow of the Mole the passion for motors still beats strongly. For three days the automotive world put Turin back in the spotlight with the third edition of the Salone dell'Auto, a free, open-air event that brought the latest innovations in the sector to the heart of the Piedmontese city.

47 brands present, 37 national previews, over 200 cars on display, an area dedicated to test drives but also the tribute to the history and design of the automobile at the Royal Museums Gardens with the 120th anniversary of Lancia, Marcello Gandini, the London to Brighton and a tribute to Ferrari curated by the Club Italia. And speaking of brands, here are the ones present: Alfa Romeo, Automobili Lamborghini, BMW, Bontu, BYD, Changan, Chery, Citroen, Dongfeng, DS, EMC, FAWCAR, Fiat, GAC, Geely, GFG Style, GWM, Honda, Hongqi, ICAUR, Itala, Italdesign, Jeep, KGM, KIA, Lancia, Leapmotor, Lepas, Linktour, Lynk & Co, Lotus, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, M-Hero, OMODA, JAECOO, Opel, Osca, Peugeot, Pininfarina, Porsche, RECARO Automotive, Renault, Suzuki, Tesla, X-Peng and Zeekr.

Among the most represented companies is the Stellantis Group which, playing at home, chose the 2026 Turin Motor Show to show the Fiat Grizzly and Fiat Grizzly Fastback but above all the new Lancia Gamma to the general public. Also on display will be the renewed Maserati range and the Leapmotor B03X. There is no shortage of other important innovations such as the new Renault Megane 2026, the Suzuki Across PHEV, the new Omoda 4 and the BMW i3 and X5.

The presence of Chinese brands is inevitable, with all the main brands choosing the Turin event to show their innovations. The TADA award, the Turin Automotive Design Award, now in its second edition, is dedicated to the innovation and design of the Asian country's brands. Access is free from 9.00 to 19.00 for the entire duration of the event, with the exhibition itinerary winding through Piazza Castello, Piazzetta Reale, Corte d'Onore, Giardini dei Musei Reali and Giardini Reali Bassi in Corso San Maurizio. In the heart of the city which has long been the epicenter of the world of motors and which wants to return to being the protagonist of the automobile, the appointment with this open air motor show has thus been renewed between passion, sector innovations and mobility of the future.
