General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) reported that the country will be under the influence of a rainy system starting from the western parts in the new week.
According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy in the northern, central and eastern parts; It is estimated that Thrace, the Western Mediterranean, the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts, the north of Istanbul, the east of Çanakkale, the north of Balıkesir, the west of Afyonkarahisar, the south and east of Van and Hakkari surroundings will have showers and thunderstorms, while other places will be slightly cloudy and clear. Occasional fog and haze are expected in the inner parts of the Western and Central Black Sea in the morning and night hours.
AIR TEMPERATURE: It is estimated that air temperatures will increase slightly in the central and western parts, and there will be no significant change in other places.
It is estimated that the cool and rainy weather throughout the country will continue until the end of next week.

Istanbul Governorship stated that citizens should be careful due to the storm expected in the Marmara Sea starting from the evening hours.
In the statement made by the Governorship, it was stated that, according to the evaluations of the General Directorate of Meteorology, the wind in Marmara is expected to blow from the north and northeast at strength 6 to 8, at a speed of 50 to 75 kilometers per hour and in the form of a storm, starting from the evening hours.
In the statement, it was stated that the storm will lose its effect as of tomorrow morning, and it was asked to be careful and cautious against negativities such as transportation disruptions.
AKOM: TEMPERATURE DECREASES BELOW 20 DEGREES
According to the weekly weather forecast report of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), temperatures will drop below 20 degrees starting from Sunday.

According to the 5-day information from AKOM; It is expected that there will be 30 to 60 kilograms of precipitation per square meter.
While thunderstorms are expected on Sunday, September 27, temperatures are expected to be between 16-21 degrees. Thunderstorms are expected to continue on Monday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 29.
There is a heavy rain warning on Wednesday, September 30th. The amount of precipitation is expected to be in the range of 30-60 kilograms/square meter on Wednesday, when temperatures will drop to 12-17 degrees.
