Hanmi Semiconductor wins MSVP equipment order worth 7.87 billion won from UTAC Thailand corporation

Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 29th that it had received an order worth 7.87 billion won for 'micro SAW & VISION PLACEMENT (MSVP) equipment from the Thai subsidiary of UTAC, a Singapore semiconductor back-end process specialist (OSAT).

The contract amount is 1.37% of Hanmi Semiconductor's consolidated sales in 2025, and the contract period is from September 28 to December 31, 2026.

MSVP is a post-processing equipment that performs the processes of cutting, cleaning, drying, inspecting, sorting, and loading semiconductor packages at once. It is used to produce not only DRAM, NAND flash, and high bandwidth memory (HBM), but also system semiconductors, PCBs, and glass substrates.

UTAC is a company that provides semiconductor packaging and testing services to fabless (semiconductor design), integrated semiconductor companies (IDM), and foundry (semiconductor consignment production) companies.

Hanmi Semiconductor previously supplied semiconductor manufacturing equipment worth approximately 1.56 billion won to UTAC in Thailand in May 2022.
