Valter Lavitola at the Review: "I was protecting Ranucci from an attack"

This is essentially what Valter Lavitola stated during spontaneous declarations before the judges of the review based on what his lawyers, Sergio and Arturo Cola, reported. The Review reserved the right to decide on the request for house arrest that the lawyers identified in a house in Basilicata available to the suspect.

The lawyer Sergio Cola added that yesterday he sent the judges a "defensive brief of 72 pages, the contents of which will be the subject of the defense intervention. The Rome Prosecutor's Office will most likely deposit documents whose contents we are not aware of and which we will however focus on extensively".
