Verona: 17-year-old supremacist investigated for terrorism and apology

The investigations by the Scaliger Digos began in the autumn of 2025 as part of the usual monitoring of supremacist extraction channels, where "an internet user with marked ideological radicalization and a significant tendency towards violence stood out", explain the investigators. The young man is said to have repeatedly expressed explicit admiration for the so-called 'white terrorists', calling them 'heroes' and legitimizing their actions with references to the 'defence of the white race'. He would also have published numerous contents of a propagandistic and celebratory nature relating to the Atomwaffen Division terrorist group, distinguishing himself - among other things - in the role of 'deputy leader' of the group of a well-known social network 'F.F.I. Italian Fascist Front', as the 'operational contact' responsible for selecting aspiring members of the community.

During the search of the 17-year-old's home, in addition to various neo-Nazi and supremacist banners, numerous bladed weapons, katanas, machetes and knives of various sizes, crossbows, pistols and soft air rifles were found, as well as handwritten A4 sheets containing drawings, symbols and emblems attributable to the ideology. The investigations carried out on the cell phones used by the young man made it possible to identify "numerous contents of investigative interest". In particular, in addition to various social media material of supremacist, accelerationist and neo-Nazi propaganda, manuals for the manufacture of homemade bombs were acquired, a text translated from Cyrillic containing indications relating to aggressive chemical substances, an operational guide for carrying out terrorist attacks with the use of heavy vehicles, a list of deadly poisons, manuals on the handling of firearms and a document containing instructions and operational techniques for stalking, attacking and eliminating human targets. During the activity, the full video of the terrorist attack carried out in Christchurch in 2019 by Brendon Tarrant was found, accompanied by messages in which the perpetrator of the massacre was indicated as a model to emulate, and the Haters Handbook manifesto drawn up by the terrorist collective MMC (Maniacs Murder Cult).

"Among the conversations detected - explain the investigators -, serious intentions emerged to immediately move into action, with explicit references to the use of homemade weapons and violence against specific categories of subjects, including Jews, immigrants, homosexuals, magistrates and politicians".
