Victims forgive Real Madrid players in case of dissemination of sexual content

The two young women, one of them a minor, who appear in the illegally disseminated videos of sexual content that have put Real Madrid defender Raúl Asencio and his former teammates Ferran Ruiz, Juan Rodríguez and Andrés García on the bench, confirmed this Thursday to the judge that they have forgiven the four involved.

The pardon that the victims of the case formalized before the Criminal Judge number 5 of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at the beginning of the trial enables the Prosecutor's Office to withdraw the accusation that it formulates for the four for crimes of revealing secrets (disseminating images of intimate content without permission).

However, it does not annul the charges of child pornography that are also filed against Ruiz, Rodríguez and García (not against Asencio) for having recorded a sexual video with a minor (one of the girls was 16 years old when the events occurred, in 2023), a type of crime in which the victim's forgiveness does not extinguish responsibility.
