A case was opened in Ufa after children were poisoned at a biathlon competition. Lenta.ru was informed about this by the investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.

According to the investigation, during media monitoring, a message was revealed about the deterioration in the health of several athletes, including minors, during a biathlon competition at the sports school. They received medical care and did not require hospitalization.

Investigators and employees of Rospotrebnadzor are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. For this purpose, the necessary examinations are ordered and the staff of the institution are interrogated. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules”).
