The Muscovite gave 1.7 million rubles to the scammers, and a year later she became accused in the same criminal case. Details were published in the “Bloody Lady” Telegram channel.

24-year-old Yana became a victim of scammers in October 2025: she dictated a four-digit code to the attackers, after which they received her data. The scammers convinced the girl that her money was in danger and forced her to send them all the cash she had.

For a week and a half, the Russian woman handed over money to couriers, picked up and delivered parcels, and, out of fear, did not tell anyone about what was happening. According to her, she was terrified and worked with a psychologist, but at some point she still told her friends about this situation and wrote a statement to the police.

After that, she was recognized as a victim in a criminal case, but a year later the girl was again summoned to the department, this time to testify as a witness. There she was informed that she was a suspect in a case of fraud on a particularly large scale and could face a real prison sentence.

According to the resolution, in October last year, when Yana was under the influence of fraudsters, she took jewelry and sold it, acting “intentionally, for selfish reasons and as part of a group of persons by prior conspiracy.” The investigation believes that in this way she participated in the theft of jewelry worth about 10 million rubles.

According to her lawyer Yegor Filin, when his client came to the police to testify as a witness, law enforcement officers did not know that she was also a victim in the same case.

Now she has been released on her own recognizance - together with a lawyer, she is trying to prove that she herself became a victim of scammers: she acted under their influence, had no criminal intent and did not appropriate other people’s property
