Refineries and ports have become the main customers for UAV interceptors

Currently, the main customers for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) interceptors are oil refineries and ports. This was stated to TASS by the founder and head of the all-Russian project “Archangel” for training in drone piloting and development of unmanned technologies, Mikhail Filippov.

“The development of a protection system using interceptor drones is now mainly ordered by oil sector enterprises, port workers and warehouse owners,” the manager said.

Earlier, the Rostec state corporation reported that the Russian Yak-130M combat training aircraft has learned to hit low-speed targets at any time of the day.
