The Women's Power Alliance has made a cross-district attack. Taichung Mayor Lu Xiuyan from the Kuomintang and Chiayi Mayor Huang Minhui went to the Shangtian Temple in Shuishui Township, Chiayi County today. They joined hands to cheer for Wu Pinrui, the non-party candidate for Chiayi County Mayor. After paying homage, they got on a chariot to sweep the streets. Later, she went to the service office of Chen Derong, the candidate for mayor of Shuangshui Township of the Kuomintang, to taste local white vinegar cold noodles and Lu cooked meat. Lu Xiuyan said that the last time she went to Taitung for the auxiliary election, her video of tasting local snacks exceeded one million views. This time she hopes to have higher traffic to boost the momentum of the opposition alliance.

Lu Xiuyan pointed out that there are many female candidates from north to south this time. She and Huang Minhui can both be called "Senior Mayors." They have agreed to work together to assist in the election, create opportunities for women to govern, and make Taiwan's political environment better. The senior election support team is dispatched for the first time today. Wu Pinrui has been re-elected as mayor of Puzi for two terms. I hope she will reach a higher level and be elected as county magistrate to expand her services.

Lu Xiuyan further said that Wu Pinrui created financial resources for Puzi Municipal Office, increased revenue and reduced expenditure to pay off 80 million yuan of debt, and increased the Double Ninth Festival pension from 200 yuan to 2,000 yuan. In addition, Wu Pinrui is also committed to improving social welfare for the elderly. If Wu Pinrui is elected as Chiayi County Mayor, he will fully subsidize the health insurance premiums for those over 65 years old. Chiayi City has already implemented this subsidy, and it is hoped that Chiayi County’s social welfare will follow suit.

Huang Minhui said that even though she had a tight schedule during the holidays, she overcame all difficulties to support Wu Pinrui on behalf of all female county mayors. Chiayi County is a difficult constituency, and candidates were selected in the form of an opposition alliance. Wu Pinrui stood up bravely. He is young and energetic. During his two terms as Mayor Pu Zi, he promoted fiscal soundness, valued culture and education, and had ideals and ambitions. She hoped that the county and city could work together for mutual benefit and common prosperity.

Wu Pinrui said that she was grateful to be recognized by two senior students. At present, Jiaxian County still lacks full subsidies for health insurance premiums for people over 65 years old. What Weng Zhangliang cannot do, let her do it.
