Rescuers tow the burning ship "Triumph" with missing fishermen to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

Rescuers have towed the fishing vessel "Triumph", where four people disappeared in a fire, and are delivering it to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Estimated arrival time is 07.00 local time on September 29, Moscow time - 22.00 on September 28.

P.-KAMCHATSKY, September 28 - RIA Novosti. Rescuers took in tow the fishing vessel "Triumph", where four people disappeared in a fire, and are delivering it to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, RIA Novosti was told at the Marine Rescue Sub-Center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

“The rescue ship Suvorovets in tow delivers the Triumph to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The estimated time of arrival is 07.00 local time on September 29, Moscow time - 22.00 on September 28,” the MSPC said.

The towed ship was located 70 miles from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The search for the four fishermen who disappeared in the fire on the Triumph did not bring any results. The search was conducted by the Suvorovets crew. Passing ships are also being involved in the search.

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kamchatka Territory, on the evening of September 25, a fishing vessel with 29 crew members on board caught fire in the Pacific Ocean east of Cape Khodzhelaika. 25 people were evacuated. Four were hospitalized, two of them in serious condition. Four more are still missing.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under an article on violation of traffic safety rules and operation of maritime transport.
