Fire on the fishing vessel "Triumph" off Cape Khojelaika: four missing fishermen

On the evening of September 25, the Triumph fishing vessel with 29 crew members on board caught fire in the Pacific Ocean east of Cape Khodzhelaika.

25 people were evacuated, four were hospitalized, two of them are in serious condition, and another four are listed as missing.

The Federal Air Transport Agency sent a helicopter to search for the missing fishermen.

P.-KAMCHATSKY, September 28 - RIA Novosti. A Federal Air Transport Agency helicopter took off in search of four fishermen who disappeared in a fire on the Triumph fishing vessel, the Marine Rescue Subcenter of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky told RIA Novosti.

“At the request of the MSPC, a Rosaviation helicopter flew to the area where the Triumph was burning,” the MSPC said.

Earlier, the subcenter reported that the rescue ship Suvorovets, which was searching for the missing, was towing the Triumph to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
