楊爸表示，所有減刑條件，全部疊加，他覺得不會超過5年，說不定又是保護處分，訓誡一下，草草了事，殺了人都只判12年，沒殺死的呢？「我們的法律，是這麼保護加害者。受害者，只能乖乖認命。」

楊爸指出，台灣青少年的安全，在哪裡？楊承勳走了快3年，法條還是沒改，受傷的小孩，只能當肉墊，墊那些無法無天的人的學習和成長，他一直強調：小錯可以原諒，大錯不可原諒。屢犯不改，也不能一直用少事法保護，希望政府真正將少事法全盤修正，不是為了保護非行少年，卻傷害大眾的生命安全。
