During the fall, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) may stage a provocation in the border regions of Russia. The founder of the WarGonzo project, military correspondent Semyon Pegov, warned about this in a conversation with Mail News.

According to him, Russian intelligence data suggests that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have formed a reserve for such actions. “These are several brigades, different numbers are called - from five to ten brigades, fresh, staffed, trained by Western NATO instructors,” Pegov said.

He also expressed skepticism about information about Ukraine’s alleged preparation for a landing in Crimea. According to the military correspondent, Kyiv is more likely to try to exert air pressure on the peninsula. “I rather consider the front line in the area of ​​Belgorod, Kursk and even Bryansk, where the forests are quite dense, where they sometimes conduct partisan attacks,” Pegov noted.

The founder of WarGonzo believes that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces “manage to jump out somewhere,” then they can arrange supplies for this group. “It will not be so easy to knock it out, because there are certain features of the relief, features of the area. It’s also not easy to fight in the forest now,” the journalist explained.
