Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto called Russia a key strategic partner

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto considers Russia a key strategic partner and counts on long-term cooperation between Moscow and Jakarta, Muhammad Kodari, head of the Indonesian Government Communications Agency (BAKOM), said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“President Prabowo views Russia as a key strategic partner, and this partnership is strengthened through the constant interaction of the two leaders at a high level. President Prabowo sees Russia as an important long-term strategic partner,” Muhammad Kodari said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, the administration of the Indonesian leader believes that the current generation should take the traditional friendship of the two countries to a new level.

“President Prabowo also made it clear that friendship cannot live on history alone. The task of the current generation is to write a new chapter that will be independent, equal, mutually beneficial and will be judged by what it gives to the people of both countries,” said Muhammad Kodari.
