State Duma deputy Zhuravlev called for destroying UAV production factories in Europe

In order to avoid attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and protect distant regions of Russia, it is necessary to destroy the Ukrainian drone industry at its roots, including factories in Europe where components are produced, said First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Alexey Zhuravlev. He gave a comment to Lenta.ru.

Earlier it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked several regions of Russia at a great distance from the border. They tried to strike with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Perm and Chuvashia.

The deputy emphasized that Russian air defense (air defense) shoots down up to 85-90 percent of all targets.

“No air defense system in the world can provide one hundred percent protection, especially when the enemy attacks every day with a swarm of drones. By the way, we shoot down up to 85-90 percent of all targets, and in this regard our air defense acts absolutely heroically. Only a few get there, and to avoid this, it is necessary, as I have said more than once, to destroy the Ukrainian UAV industry at its roots, including training places for operators and workshops for the production of components, which are located mainly in Europe,” Zhuravlev said.

According to the parliamentarian, it is necessary to move from retaliatory actions to preventive strikes, from which the enemy will not be able to defend himself.
