Lavrov said that the previous relations between Russia and the West will no longer exist

The relations that existed between Russia and the West before February 2022 will never exist again. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a meeting with students and teaching staff of MGIMO, a Lenta.ru correspondent reports.

“The kind of relations with them (with Western countries - Lenta.ru’s note) that existed before February 2022 will never happen again,” the diplomat said.

According to Lavrov, the Russian side tried to give their Western colleagues a chance, but the failure of this attempt only convinced the Kremlin that the country is now on the only right path. He also noted that Russia will never be able to trust the West, which “used to lie and is lying now.”
