PORT SAID (Egypt), September 25 - RIA Novosti. A resident of Egyptian Port Said, Asma Saleh, told RIA Novosti that she received more than two thousand marriage proposals from men after publishing on a social network about the difficulties of starting a family.

“I received about two thousand messages from men who expressed a desire to marry me, but I did not answer any of them,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

The 30-year-old Egyptian woman, who calls herself a life coach and owns an educational center for children, explained that she initially expected to receive recommendations from friends, rather than requests from thousands of strangers.

Asma Saleh's post on Facebook* was commented on by thousands of users; it was also actively discussed in the Egyptian and pan-Arab media, including on the Al-Jazeera TV channel.

"I want to get married...
