Water supply has been restored in Vladivostok, Artyom and Nadezhdinsky district after an accident at a power plant

Due to an accident at a power plant in Artyom, Vladivostok and the Nadezhda region, water supply was turned off.

More than 650 thousand people and 224 socially significant facilities were left without water.

By Wednesday, water and electricity supplies had been fully restored in the affected areas.

VLADIVOSTOK, September 30 - RIA Novosti. Experts have completely restored water supply in Vladivostok, Artyom and the Nadezhda region, which was disrupted since Monday due to an accident at a power plant, reports the regional headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On Monday morning, Primorsky Vodokanal reported a shutdown of cold water in Artyom and Vladivostok, as well as in the Nadezhdinsky district due to an accident at the power plant. According to the regional State Emergency Management Directorate, over 650 thousand people and 224 socially significant facilities were left without water.

On Monday evening the accident was repaired and the systems began to be filled with water. On Tuesday morning, some consumers already had water, but many reported on social networks throughout the day about the lack of water.

“Water supply in the Vladivostok and Artemovsk urban districts, as well as in the Nadezhdinsky district, has been completely restored, all consumers are powered,” the message says.
