Lawyer Aydoğdu, in his press release, said, "The rental fees for the work machines, garbage trucks, excavators and passenger vehicles rented by our client company to the debtor municipality have not been paid despite all the negotiations and payment promises. Our client company has shown all the goodwill required to date and has given the municipality time to collect the receivable through reconciliation. However, when the foreclosure proceedings came to the fore, the municipal officials, who contacted our client company, stopped communication when the promised dates came and made the promised payments. "Due to the municipality's failure to pay its debt on time, our client company had to use loans many times and bear the heavy financing costs that come with it. A municipality cannot procure vehicles and services from a private company and delay the creditor by constantly giving new payment dates without paying for them. Being a public institution cannot be a justification for not paying the debt, and at the same time, a public institution cannot use the resources of private companies as a financing tool of the municipality."

'TIME WAS GIVEN UNTIL FRIDAY'

Lawyer Aydoğdu continued his statement: "At this point, the seizure and preservation transactions carried out are not a choice; they are the inevitable legal consequences of unfulfilled payment obligations and broken promises. The demand of our client company is extremely clear. The municipality must pay for the vehicles it uses and the services it receives. In the face of non-payment of the debt despite the promises made to date, the TV, air conditioner and air purifiers in the rooms of the mayor and deputy mayors have been seized, and the municipality has been given until Friday, for the last time. "Until our client company's receivables are fully collected, all coercive enforcement methods allowed by law will be used decisively. The legal process will continue as long as the debt is not paid," he said.
