Armed Attack in Eyüpsultan: Hasan Hüseyin K. Shot at Gürkan A.

The incident took place on Monday, September 14, at around 20:00 in Çırçır District. According to the information obtained, Hasan Hüseyin K. wanted to meet with Gürkan A., who he claimed was harassing his mother and persistently following her. Hasan Hüseyin K. fired a shot with a shotgun in front of Gürkan A.'s older brother Özkan A. (32) and his father Hidayet A. (56). Then, Hasan Hüseyin K. went to the park in the neighborhood and injured Gürkan A. by shooting one shot at his right and left legs with an unlicensed gun.

EYÜPSULTAN PATROL TEAMS CAUGHT

Hasan Hüseyin K., who tried to escape from the scene, was caught by the police of the Eyüpsultan Patrol Teams Headquarters, who were patrolling the area. It was learned that Gürkan A., who was taken to the hospital for treatment, was not in a life-threatening situation. Police teams working at the crime scene and its surroundings seized an unlicensed gun and a shotgun cartridge. During the inspection in the park, 2 empty cartridges, 1 gun cartridge and 1 bullet core were found.

During the checks carried out by the police, it was determined that Hasan Hüseyin K. had 4 records of coming to the police station for crimes such as 'fraud' and 'deliberate injury'. It was learned that Gürkan A. had a record of coming to the police station for 'threat' and 'insult' crimes.

Hasan Hüseyin K. was referred to the courthouse for the crimes of 'intentional wounding', 'armed threat' and 'violation of the Firearms Law'.
