He said to the People Power Party, "They are making national security a sacrifice for political strife by saying they covered up the accident before the final results were even out. This investigation is being conducted jointly and transparently by our military and the UN Command, so no one can arbitrarily reduce or cover it up."

He then criticized, “Pushing for a deliberate delay in the investigation is nothing more than a political offensive based on ignorance,” and added, “I once again express deep regret at the outdated practice of dragging in soldiers who were injured while dedicating themselves to the country as tools of political strife.”

Addressing Supreme Court Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae, a floor leader pointed out, "Due to the delay in recommending (Supreme Court Justice candidates) and the refusal to re-recommend without consultation, the longest Supreme Court justice vacuum in history has continued for a whopping 210 days. If it is a decision that has caused the longest judicial vacuum, shouldn't the process also be verified by the public?"

At the same time, regarding the Supreme Court Chief Justice Cho's adoption as a witness for the government audit of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee led by his own party, he said, "I hope that he will appear in the government audit as promised and explain in detail to the public the entire process of the decision to reject the re-submission," and added, "He should not leave after leaving only a greeting due to custom."
