Lavrov recalled Putin’s words that if Europe attacks Russia, “it won’t come after us”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recalled the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin that if Europe attacks the Russian Federation, “it will not come after us.” The diplomat mentioned this at a press conference following participation in the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

“In this case, if they attack us because we are not going, as the president said, they will not come after us. And one more time he said that this would be a completely different war, and it would be short,” Lavrov emphasized.
