Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya's Fund Profiting Allegations and Reactions

It was claimed that former Family Minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband went on a pilgrimage last year on Muhammed Yarız's jet. Sayan denied this claim through Nagehan Alçı. Kaya took a photo with his wife in front of the Quba Mosque in Medina and shared it.

AKP member Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband bought Özata shares worth 163 million lira in April and sold them for 2.2 billion lira in September. When this was revealed about the fund fraud, he announced that he resigned from his post. However, he did not remove the title 'AKP Deputy Chairman' from his social media accounts.

Statements were made by the ruling party that "Those responsible will be held accountable" for the fund fraud, but Sayan Kaya was not even called to testify.

The legal process that was administered differently for İmamoğlu and differently for Sayan was seen as 'discrimination'. "These decisions shake the trust in justice," he said.

Many political figures also reacted by calling for Sayan's statement to be taken.
