Google integrates advanced version of Colab benefits into some Google AI payment plans

Google AI subscription has a new benefit. In addition to AI functions and cloud storage space such as Gemini, Google has also integrated the benefits of the advanced version of Colab into some Google AI payment plans. For those who are already using Colab, it is a very practical upgrade.

Google AI subscription incorporates Colab paid features

Google Colab is a cloud program development tool that is used directly on the browser. You do not need your own computer to have high-end specifications. In addition, Colab also supports multi-person collaboration and provides free versions and paid plans.

Google’s latest official statement points out that as long as you subscribe to a qualifying Google AI paid plan, you can also obtain Colab advanced benefits. Google AI Plus users can get 50 computing units per month, Google AI Pro provides 200; Google AI Ultra can get 1,000 or 2,000 computing units per month depending on the plan, and also enjoys advanced GPU, background execution and other functions.

Original Colab subscription can be used in combination

People who have already subscribed to Colab will not suffer any loss. With the addition of the Google AI solution, the computing credits from both parties can be accumulated and used together. To activate related benefits, you can go to the Colab subscription plan page and select "Upgrade to Google One". Once completed, the Colab benefits will be automatically applied to the same Google account.

However, please note that this benefit only applies to qualified Google AI paid plans. The Google One plan that only has cloud storage space does not include Colab advanced benefits. Google also said that new benefits are being rolled out in countries that support Colab, and some accounts may have to wait a few weeks before they are fully displayed.
