iPad mini 8 code leaked, rumored to be equipped with A20 Pro chip, could be unveiled as soon as October

According to foreign media MacRumors, researcher Aaron Perris has discovered clues about the iPad mini 8 from Apple's code. The leaked code shows that the new model will be equipped with the A20 Pro chip, which is the same level of chip currently used in the iPhone 18 Pro series and iPhone Duo.

The current iPad mini 7 will be launched in 2024 and uses A17 Pro. If the new generation chip jumps directly to A20 Pro, not only will the performance be significantly improved, but it will also mean that this small-sized tablet will be closer to Apple's latest flagship product in terms of core hardware.

In addition to the chip upgrade, a frontal picture of the iPad mini 8 also appeared in the code. The overall appearance does not appear to have been significantly changed.
