Cabinet meets tomorrow: Fund investigation and terrorism-free Türkiye process are on the agenda

NEWS CENTER- The Cabinet is meeting tomorrow under the chairmanship of President Erdoğan. Many hot agendas, from the funding crisis to foreign policy, will be on the table at the meeting. Within the scope of the terrorism-free Türkiye process, the stages of disarmament of the terrorist organization PKK in the field are among the topics that will be evaluated by the Cabinet.

FUNDING INVESTIGATION IS ON THE TABLE

Critical topics such as the fund investigation, the repercussions of the UN summit, regional crises and Terrorism-Free Türkiye will be discussed tomorrow at the Cabinet, which will meet under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

2 MINISTERS WILL INFORM

All negotiations, including the funding crisis, will be on the table at the meeting to be held next week. Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek are expected to provide information about the judicial and economic dimensions of the crisis.

At the meeting, the direction in which the investigations will proceed, the measures to be taken for citizens harmed by the crisis, and the economic measures to be taken to prevent similar situations will be discussed.

FOREIGN POLICY

Foreign policy will also be on the Cabinet's agenda. While President Erdoğan is expected to inform the Cabinet about the talks he held at the UN, regional developments will also be under the spotlight.

Critical steps to be taken on issues such as ensuring the safety of navigation in the Black Sea in the Ukraine-Russia war, a ceasefire in Iran tensions, and a permanent ceasefire in Gaza will be discussed in the Cabinet.

TERRORIST-FREE Türkiye PROCESS

The terror-free Türkiye process is also under close monitoring by the Cabinet. After the framework law is passed by the Parliament in August, evaluations will be made regarding disarmament activities in the field. The final stage of the process followed by MIT and TAF will be examined.

Important issues such as the 2027 budget, the fight against inflation, and wage increases for 2027 will also be examined at the meeting.
