The Left Party files an injunction against Federal Economics Minister Reiche

The Left Party has filed an injunction against a video by Federal Economics Minister Katherina Reiche (CDU) that was published on her ministry's Instagram channel. Federal chairwoman Ines Schwerdtner said that Reiche was using the ministry's official channel to "use tax money to spread propaganda against the left." This is a misuse of public resources. Reiche doesn't explicitly mention the Left Party in the video, but he obviously means it. She talks about a party “here in Berlin” that is not ashamed “not just to talk about expropriation, but to write it into the program.” This party openly practices anti-Semitism, scares Jews in this city, fights Jewish life and welcomes organized crime "happily at election parties." The description of the video says: "Expropriations and anti-Semitism endanger not only coexistence in Germany, but also our economy."
