Heavy rain and storms negatively affected life in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. In the images shared on social media, it was seen that the streets and roads turned into streams after the rain accompanied by thunder.

Due to the rain, puddles occurred in the streets and avenues. Saudi Arabian authorities warned the public to comply with the instructions for the safety of life and property. After the thunder and heavy rain, the streets turned into a lake.

Hundreds of Muslims in the Masjid al-Haram continued their prayers under the rain.
