Woman drives with expired license and bald tires, causing accident that leaves companion injured

According to the police report, the confusion began at the couple's residence. In a statement to the Military Police, the driver reported that she was preparing to leave the house to go to work when her partner tried to stop her. She managed to get into the vehicle and start it, at which point the man threw himself onto the vehicle and clung to the hood during the journey.

However, the woman lost control of the wheel and crashed the car into another parked vehicle. With the impact, the man was thrown onto the asphalt and almost run over. He suffered head trauma.

The woman, who was driving without a seat belt, hit her head against the windshield and received treatment. The PM found that the driver had an expired National Driving License (CNH) since 2018. Furthermore, the car had two bald (smooth) front tires and was collected at the accredited yard.
