Three men are arrested after robbing an elderly woman in Araçatuba; jewelry is also robbed

The victim had gone out to buy a cake when he was approached by the armed trio in Praça do Idoso. According to the police, upon arriving at the bank branch, the woman made withdrawals in the amounts of R$500 and R$1,000.

The agency's security cameras recorded the action and helped identify the suspects. After being released by investigators, the victim became ill and needed medical attention.

The Municipal Civil Guard and the police began the search. The trio and the car were located and arrested at a highway toll plaza in the region of Itapira (SP).

In the center of Araçatuba (SP), a jewelry store was robbed on Tuesday afternoon. According to information provided by the Military Police, an allegedly armed man wore a hat and invaded the establishment.

He then locked the employees in the bathroom and fled with gold and silver items. The damage has not yet been accounted for by the owners of the place. The suspect fled and, until the last update of this report, had not been located or arrested.
