The Ethnic Affairs Bureau of the Second Branch of the Sanmin Civil Affairs Bureau pointed out that when the police were on watch duty on Jianxing Road last night, they saw a dispute outside a store. They immediately stepped forward to stop it and notified the supporting police force to the scene. It was learned that Xu Nan (39 years old), Wang Nan (39 years old) and their friends were drinking together in the store. Xu Nan and the other two suffered minor scratches and contusions on their hands but did not seek medical treatment. Although the two parties did not complain to each other, the police still sent Xu Nan and the other two people to court in accordance with Article 87, Paragraph 1, Paragraph 2 of the Social Welfare Law, which carries a fine of not more than 18,000 yuan.
