Police are looking for man suspected of raping a vulnerable 4-year-old child in MA

According to the Police, the case happened on August 29, in a commercial establishment on the banks of BR-316, where the child's mother works.

The girl told her parents that she had been touched on her private parts by the suspect. After the report, the father checked the images from the establishment's security cameras.

According to the police, the images show the suspect interacting with the child and then placing the girl on his lap, at which point he allegedly committed the abuse. After analyzing the recordings, the father went to the police station and filed a police report.

The preventive detention of Francisco Barbosa de Souza was ordered by the Court on September 2nd, after a favorable statement from the Public Ministry. The decision also ordered searches to be carried out to locate the suspect.

To date, the man has not been located and is considered a fugitive. The Civil Police continues with the search and asks that any information that could help find him be passed on through Hotline 181 or by calling (98) 99178-7562.
