Police officer is suspected of shooting that caused a stampede at the entrance of a federal university in SE

A military police officer is suspected of having fired a firearm that caused a stampede during a political event in favor of President Lula, at the entrance to the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), on Thursday night (8).

The information is from the State Secretariat for Public Security (SSP).

Sergeant Manoel Messias dos Santos, from the Sergipe Military Police, was removed from duty and had his weapon collected.
