Video shows DJ Dani Brasil being arrested by the PM after diving into the club's pool to try to escape

The driver is a DJ known as Dani Brasil, who has around 130 thousand followers on Instagram. He was arrested red-handed this Friday morning (9) after fleeing from an approach by the PM.

In the images you can see the DJ jumping into the water, then going to the middle of the pool and walking to the edge while police handcuff and arrest him. According to the police, he was drunk.

A security camera had already recorded the driver of the luxury car dragging the homeless man beforehand. According to the police, the victim was dragged approximately 900 meters into the club (see video below). The vehicle entered the establishment after breaking through the gate.

Still according to the Military Police, the incident began around 6:10 am, when police officers tried to approach the driver on Avenida Padre José Maria, in Santo Amaro. He disobeyed the order to stop and fled.

During the escape, the driver allegedly went the wrong way and ran over the pedestrian, who was sleeping on the sidewalk under subway line 5-Lilac, in the South Zone of the capital. The victim's name was not released.

According to the PM, the driver dragged the victim until he entered the Santo Amaro Sports Center, located on Humboldt Street.

The victim was under the vehicle and was taken by an ambulance in serious condition to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) Santo Amaro. Rescue teams arrived to carry out resuscitation maneuvers at the scene. The homeless man later died.

The driver was arrested red-handed by the Military Police. He had jumped into a pool and was detained in the water. The breathalyzer test showed a positive result for alcohol consumption, with a reported index of 0.6.

He was taken to the 11th Police District (DP), in Santo Amaro, where the incident would be recorded. The case was still ongoing Friday morning.
